Powered by the Rolex Caliber 3135 automatic movement and fitted with an Oyster bracelet featuring the Oysterlock clasp and Glidelock extension system, it delivers exceptional reliability, comfort, and classic Submariner styling. Water resistant to 300 meters, this watch remains a versatile luxury dive watch, and retains the original factory sticker on the end link, highlighting its well-preserved condition and careful ownership.
Pre-owned Rolex Submariner ref 116613 (2010) was among the first models in the series to sport a ceramic bezel instead of aluminum. Rolex began switching materials across its professional series lineup in the 2000s, favoring “Cerachrom” for its more lustrous finish and resistance to scratches, sunlight, and salt water. Like the previous two-tone Submariners, this model was available with either a black or a blue dial and bezel. The example you see here tops many collectors’ must-have lists thanks to its sleek black, two-tone design. It flies a little more under the radar than its “Rolex Bluesy” counterparts and is easier to dress up or down to match the occasion. This model was discontinued in 2020 to make way for the incoming 41mm generation. It’s still a strong collector favorite for its unique “Super Case” proportions and its place in Rolex history.
