The PAM233 runs on Panerai’s in-house caliber P.2002, a manual-wind movement with an impressive eight-day power reserve. That’s not marketing fluff. You can actually track it on the linear power reserve indicator across the dial. It also features a GMT function displayed in the 9 o’clock sub-dial, plus a day/night indicator, making it far more practical than a simple three-hander. Despite the 44mm diameter and domed crystal, the manually wound movement allows it to sit slightly lower on the wrist than many automatic Luminors.
