Pre-owned Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref 116000 (2011 – 2020) is something of an under-the-radar Rolex. It was replaced by the ref 126000 in 2020, but this generation still holds its own on the used Rolex market, especially in configurations like this one. At a glance, it looks a lot like the 36mm Explorer, with a similar mix of Arabic numerals and baton hour markers, but with one very noticeable difference. The black dial is paired with pink Super-LumiNova, something Rolex no longer offers, and it gives the watch a subtle pop without being over the top. It’s different, but still very wearable. The 36mm case has classic proportions, making it an excellent everyday watch. It flies a bit under the radar compared to sport models, which is part of the appeal here.
