Rolex released the now-discontinued palm motif dial back in 2021, keeping it in production for just a few short years before removing it from the lineup in 2024. The frond design immediately caught the eye of avid collectors. It was dynamic yet refined, perfect for a watch that has, in the past, been home to some rather intriguing dial textures. Here, different textures and shades give way to a mysterious canopy, dotted with Chromalight hour markers and the famous Cyclops date at 3 o’clock. Rolex made a few variations of the DJ with a palm dial, including the 36mm model you see here. The case is furnished in steel and features a glittering diamond-set bezel and a 5-link Jubilee bracelet.
