Powered by the IWC-manufactured Caliber 69385 automatic movement with a 46-hour power reserve, it combines Formula One influence with modern Pilot’s Watch engineering. Finished with a sapphire exhibition caseback and 100 meters of water resistance, this performance chronograph delivers advanced materials, technical capability, and contemporary AMG PETRONAS styling.

Released in 2023, the Performance Chronograph series wasn’t created to replace the brand’s traditional Pilot’s Watches, but rather to expand the collection in a more technical and racing-oriented direction. This particular reference was created in partnership with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team and features several details inspired by the team’s signature color palette. The black dial is contrasted by turquoise day and date displays, while the nickel noir hands give the watch a stealthier overall appearance. Surrounding the dial is a tachymeter bezel, a classic motorsport complication used to calculate average speed over a fixed distance. The 41mm case is made from Ceratanium®, IWC’s proprietary material that combines the lightweight feel of titanium with the scratch resistance of ceramic.
