Pre-owned Rolex GMT-Master II ref 116710LN (2011 – 2019) holds an important place in the modern GMT-Master II timeline as the first stainless steel GMT fitted with a ceramic Cerachrom bezel, and the last one to feature the all-black bezel configuration. When Rolex introduced the model in the late 2000s, it marked the brand’s shift away from aluminum bezel inserts toward the far more durable ceramic material that now defines the lineup. The watch features the familiar 40mm stainless steel Oyster case paired with the sporty Oyster bracelet. On the dial, the green GMT arrow hand and matching green “GMT-Master II” text add a subtle pop of color, a detail collectors associate strongly with this generation. Rolex eventually replaced the ref. 116710LN with the newer ref. 126710 series, which introduced updated movements and additional bezel colors. Interestingly, the green GMT hand and text have recently returned on the newest “Bruce Wayne” model, but that watch features a grey and black bezel, making the 116710LN the original all-black ceramic GMT in stainless steel.
