It stands apart from other Seamaster offerings with a fascinating analog/digital display powered by Omega’s innovative “multi-functional” caliber 5701 quartz movement. Functions include 3 alarms, a regatta race function, a moon phase indicator, a sailing logbook, a temperature gauge, a chronograph, and an accelerometer. Digital readings are displayed on a gray LCD alongside the Seamaster’s famous skeleton hands and an outer minute circle decorated with integrated and luminescent hour markers. Of course, the parts of the dial that aren’t LCD are decorated with the famous Omega wave motif. Furthermore, the case back is adorned with the 37th America’s Cup logo and trophy, formally called the Auld Mug, and the distinctions “Seamaster Regatta,” “37th America’s Cup,” and “Calibre 5701.
