Pre-owned Breitling Chronomat ref B1335211/B547 (Circa 2000). First introduced in the early 1980s, the Chronomat marked the brand’s return to mechanical chronographs at a time when quartz still dominated the industry. Developed in collaboration with Italy’s Frecce Tricolori aerobatic team, it reestablished Breitling’s identity around bold aviation instruments and set the design language that would carry the brand through the next several decades. This early-2000s example features everything collectors associate with the Chronomat name. The two-tone stainless steel and yellow gold case is paired with a steel bezel fitted with signature gold rider tabs, originally designed to improve grip and protect the crystal during flight use. The black dial is punctuated by golden sub-dials and a date window at 3 o’clock, creating a strong contrast and excellent at-a-glance legibility. Inside beats the self-winding Breitling caliber B13, a COSC-certified chronograph movement. Shop Breitling Chronomat Collection
