Pre-owned Rolex Submariner ref 16618 (1990) has a lot of wrist presence, dressed entirely in flawless 18k yellow gold. It exudes the class and prestige many expect from an all-gold Rolex watch while delivering the functional aesthetic of a true dive watch. The Submariner was released in the 1950s, featuring a waterproof Oyster case, a 60-minute diver’s bezel, and luminescent hour markers and hands. While the collection has transformed through the years, those features remain a constant on every model. Ref. 16618 was the last gold Submariner to sport an aluminum bezel. It has narrower lugs than its 6-digit successors, smaller hour markers filled with Super-LumiNova, and a uni-directional bezel.
