This pre-owned Explorer is powered by the Rolex Caliber 3132 automatic movement, delivering precise performance, dependable reliability, and lasting accuracy. This used Rolex captures the adventurous heritage of the Explorer line with a versatile design built for both daily wear and exploration.
Pre-owned Rolex Explorer ref 214270 (2019) originally launched in 2010 and marked a major shift for the Explorer by increasing the case size from the traditional 36mm format to a more modern 39mm profile. It was the first time Rolex significantly upsized the Explorer, giving the historically understated field watch a stronger wrist presence while still preserving its clean, highly legible design. The earliest versions of the 214270, now commonly referred to by collectors as “Mark I” dials, featured solid white gold Arabic numerals at 3, 6, and 9 without luminescent filling. They also used slightly shorter hands, which some collectors felt looked undersized within the larger dial layout. Rolex quietly refined the watch in 2016 with what became known as the “Mark II” dial, seen here. The update added Chromalight-filled luminescent Arabic numerals along with longer hands that better matched the proportions of the 39mm case.
