Pre-owned Omega Speedmaster “Ed White” ref 311.30.40.30.01.001 (2026). NASA astronaut Ed White made history in 1965 as the first American to perform a spacewalk. On his wrist was the 3rd-generation ref. 105.003, powered by the caliber 321. Fast forward to the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing, when Omega officially revived the historic movement. That updated movement is the same engine driving the Omega 311.30.40.30.01.001 Ed White tribute watch for sale here. This edition of the Speedmaster is based on the same watch worn by White, from the 39.7mm case to the black step dial with classic Moon Watch hands and a vintage Omega logo. Of course, it also benefits from modern upgrades. The familiar black tachymeter bezel is outfitted with tougher ceramic and a white enamel scale, and the case back is clad in sapphire, giving us a nice view of the famous caliber 321.
