Pre-owned Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 ref AB0138211B1P1 (2022). Breitling developed the Navitimer back in the 1950s, initially to provide pilots with a reliable wrist-worn chronograph for recording necessary specs while in the air. The watch was eventually adopted by AOPA (the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association) just a few years later. It was officially crowned the Navitimer after its intended purpose as a navigational timer. In addition to traditional chronograph functionality, the Navi also features the innovative Slide Rule, which calculates stats such as climbing speed and fuel consumption. The modern collector might also use this handy feature for everyday calculations, such as how much to tip their server while out to lunch. Ref. AB0138 is a contemporary variation of the series, featuring a 43mm stainless steel case, a sharp black tri-compax dial, and the in-house caliber B01. Shop Breitling Navitimer Collection
