Pre-owned IWC Ingenieur Automatic 40 Ref IW328903. Back in the 1970s, IWC tasked noted watch designer Gérald Genta with redesigning its Ingenieur collection. True to his famous aesthetics, Genta outfitted the watch with a bezel with visible screws, a textured dial, and a newer integrated bracelet. That watch was christened the Jumbo Ingenieur SL ref. 1832. Fast forward to 2023 and the release of the IWC watch for sale here. It revived that 1970s Genta watch in a suite of different dial colors and metal finishes, while introducing several welcome upgrades, such as a sleeker bracelet, a curvier case, and a newer, much-improved bezel-fastening design with polygonal screws. Ref. IW328903 is the blue “aqua” dial variant with a stainless steel 40mm case, a 3 o’clock date display, and the caliber 32111.
